Shifting Sands: Maungapiko to Mt Camel: David Sarich

23 June - 10 July 2010

An exhibition of new etchings by David Sarich.

Alongside the work of Faith McManus, David Sarich is exhibiting etchings that are inspired by the landscapes of the Far North. David’s work has often been concerned with ideas of journey, prophecy and connection to particular places and their stories. These etchings explore many of the locations that were filmed in the 1920’s and documented in the period photographs of Arthur Northwood. David is drawn by the sense of “space and light” that he finds in the landscapes of the Far North.
