Martin Poppelwell
Martin Poppelwell is one of New Zealand’s leading contemporary artists. Born in Hawkes Bay in 1969 and currently residing in Napier. He studied at Otago University, Dunedin and Elam School of Fine arts, Auckland finishing in 1991. M.P. taught in Zimbabwe, and Hawkes Bay. In 1997 started a diploma in ceramic design and production at Wanganui Polytechnic
