Last NZ stop for ‘Paradise Lost’

 Paradise Lost – Daniel Solander’s Legacy is currently on exhibition  at the Millennium Public Art Gallery in Blenheim until 28 June. This is the last opportunity to view the exhibition as it winds up a year long journey around Aotearoa.

Solander spent a substantial amount of time in Totaranui (Queen Charlotte Sound), Marlborough which has been acknowledged with the acquisition of two key artworks from the project for the Gallery’s permanent collection from artists, Michel Tuffery and John McLean.

The artists who produced work for this exhibition are: John Pusateri (Auckland), Alexis Neal (Auckland), Dagmar Dyck (Auckland), John McLean (New Plymouth), Tabatha Forbes (New Plymouth), Michel Tuffery (Wellington), Sharnae Beardsley (Christchurch), Jo Ogier (Christchurch), Lynn Taylor (Dunedin), and Jenna Packer (Dunedin).
