Inge Doesburg: Shapes of the Wind

Dunedin artist Inge Doesburg recently celebrated 30 years living in New Zealand having moved from Germany. Shapes of the Wind is an exhibition of landscape paintings that reflects her delight in exploring the Dunedin and Otago areas. This new suite of works evolved from observations made while doing ordinary things such as walks in the hills with her dog, family bike rides or drives in the country. Each work captures the essence of the landscape and the dramatic skies that inspire her works.

Inge has borrowed the title for this exhibition Shapes of the Wind from the title of a poem by Brian Turner with whom she has collaborated often.
